I've always been interested in photography. I especially enjoy presenting my images in black & white or monochromatic formats. That may be because I'm colorblind (really). But, mostly it just suits my photographic aesthetic. Like many photographers, I find inspiration in the works of the greats like Adams, Weston, and Stieglitz.

I'm married to a wonderful woman who is a teacher and writer. We both enjoy the outdoors, hiking, skiing, whitewater canoeing (and snorkeling in the tropics when we can).
